Balthasar Ress claims that its wines are drunk in the most beautiful places in the world. Julia manages the export to these beautiful places for Balthasar Ress, in well over 40 countries around the world. Her absolute favorite country is Norway, but she also likes Canada because "people are incredibly open and polite there."
Her first step in contacting international customers goes like this: "Germany is Riesling. Incredibly diverse and a total strength of Balthasar Ress. From brut sparkling wines to Trockenbeerenauslese, we show what Riesling can do."
Representing and presenting even on the big stage comes easily to Julia. Her career as wine queen, which finally culminated in her position as Rheingau wine queen, was excellent preparation for her current position.
