Our history

The story begins in 1870 with Balthasar Ress and continues to this day. Four more generations of the family, Carl, Paul, Stefan and Christian, have put their own stamp on the company and wine estate - but always maintaining the claim of being good hosts and but always maintaining the claim to be

good hosts and winemakers - true to today's slogan "Fine wines. Fine moments". Important events from the 150-year history of the wine estate are highlighted here.
