For many years, we have been training young, motivated people who share their love for the region and wine with us. And many of them stay with us after they have completed their apprenticeship. The chances of being taken on after graduation are very high, because we know what we have taught our apprentices and that they have passed through all the positions of their profession according to the Balthasar Ress philosophy over several years. Apprenticeship also means diversity and variety - on the one hand between theoretical learning and on the other hand gaining al ot of practical experience in the company. We offer the following apprenticeship programms:
Winemaker: Here you learn everything about the wine production, with a strong focus on viticulture.
Wine Technologist: As a Wine Technologist, the cellar is the working terrain. In this program the focus is on the process of grapes and the produciton of fine wines.
