Together for Education and Children's Rights
For several years now, the Balthasar Ress Winery has been supporting Childaid Network in the form of donations in kind. Since 2007, Childaid Network has been working to ensure that disadvantaged children in remote regions of South Asia have access to good education. The children's aid organization regularly holds fundraising galas in the Rhine-Main region to collect donations for the approximately 50 projects in Nepal, northeast India, Myanmar and Bangladesh. Christian Ress has supported Childaid Network's fundraising galas since 2018 and donates the white wine for the events. Other sponsors donate the food and other drinks. This way, 100% of all donations go to the projects for education and children's rights.
Childaid Network is a non-profit organization based in Königstein im Taunus. The organization works to ensure that girls and boys from marginalized groups, including persecuted ethnic minorities, street children, children in slums, children from refugee camps and child laborers, especially girls, have access to their right to education and good development opportunities.
