"Rheingau Hero" presented - BR in Wiesbadener Kurier

The Rheingau Music Festival (RMF) and the Balthasar Ress Winery have launched a joint project to support and promote young musicians whose careers have suffered or are in danger of suffering a severe setback as a result of the Corona crisis. It is a wine that goes by the beautiful name "Rheingau Held". "Here, the wine is not to be understood as a hero, but rather the wine drinker who chooses our wine," Christian Ress, owner and managing director of the winery, explains the designation.

Of the sales price of each bottle of the dry 2020 Riesling from the Ress estate - the recommended retail price is 12.90 euros - one euro net benefits the RMF initiative. The RMF has been promoting young talents in the music industry for many years, RMF Managing Director Marsilius Graf von Ingelheim pointed out. Especially in the current times, he said, performance opportunities are particularly important for young artists to be able to further develop their careers. "This is exactly where we come in with our support programs and prepare the stages for the stars of tomorrow to present their own art."
