It thus achieved the highest rating of this vintage among the GG's of organic producers in the Rheingau and the second highest rating of this vintage among all GG's from the Rheingau. It is also in the top 10 of this vintage among organic producers from all over Germany.

Tasting Notes:

"Cool, firm, rather quiet, quite deep, herbaceous-vegetal and slightly yeasty nose with fine yellow-fruited and mineral aromas and a hint of smoke. Tight, juicy, somewhat yeasty fruit with herbal nuances and some red berry, very fine, rather quiet acidity that really marbles the wine, grippy, ripe tannins, a touch of caraway on the palate, red berry nuances, clear, fine mineral spice, good depth, very good, juicy, again finely spicy finish. First class."
