90P for 2022 Hattenheim Engelmannsberg Riesling VDP.Erste Lage dry

We are delighted about the award from wein.plus, in which our 2023 Hattenheim Engelmannsberg Riesling VDP.Erste Lage dry achieved a top ranking with “excellent (90P)”.

Tasting notes:

Delicately smoky, hinting at nutty yeast and vegetal to herbal, even tobacco-like aromas with restrained, tart yellow fruit flavors. Ripe, juicy, firm fruit, cool herbal and algae-like tones, some shellfish and crab meat on the palate, very delicate sweetness and lively, fine acidity, some grip, floral nuances, persistent, bright minerality, a hint of red berries, very good, cool, taut, juicy finish with grip and minerality.
