ESWE Eiszeit 2021/2022 is postponed to the season 2022/2023!

From Wednesday, November 17, the ESWE Ice Age was planned at the new location, but now it has to be postponed by one year due to the current framework conditions for the implementation of events under the conditions of the Corona Protection Ordinance of September 16.

The plans for the implementation of the ESWE Ice Age were adjusted again after the publication of the ordinance and in extensive consultations between the operator and Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH were designed so that an operational implementation of the event under 2G rules would have been possible. However, the additional costs arising in this context were not to be earned by the operators of the Ice Age.

Furthermore, it was not possible to reliably plan how the vaccination rate among 12 to 17 year olds would develop by the date of the Eiszeit event and how the visitor frequency would develop among this important group of people for the Eiszeit.

Operators and the management of Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH agreed that the restrictions imposed by the Corona Protection Ordinance had damaged the concept of the ESWE Ice Age and that it would be better to be able to hold an Ice Age next year, hopefully without restrictions.
